Afrika Focus welcomes manuscripts from Africa researchers from any possible academic discipline, ranging from architecture, bio-diversity and multilingualism to legal discussions, health, anthropology and psychology. We would especially like to encourage African researchers to submit an article for publication. All submitted articles go through the double-blind peer-reviewing process, whereby the authors receive considerable support the help them revising their manuscripts.
In addition to fully-fledged articles, Afrika Focus also publishes reports of doctoral research, of fieldwork and of conference participation. These reports are published in a separate sub-section and they should count 2500-5000 words. Reports need to contain an abstract (maximum 150 words) and keywords, and the general guidelines for authors should be observed. Reports are not subject to doubled-blind peer review.
Finally, Afrika Focus also publishes book reviews of academic literature. These reviews should be no longer than 3000 words.
